BESPOKE APPROACHES TO CONFLICT.
After decades practicing civil rights law, I exclusively represent plaintiffs enforcing their rights in workplace conflicts, including hostile work environment, sexual harassment, systemic discrimination, whistleblower and retaliation claims in all professions and industries.
My approach to lawyering is client centered and I bring to the practice of employment law an insider knowledge of how otherness may operate in the workplace and in life. I value an engaged partnership between client and attorney that generates solutions to conflict by centering a client’s life experience, agency and priorities, while capitalizing on the attorney’s problem-solving skills and legal knowledge.
Whether for a client or a party in a mediation, I collaborate to go beyond postures to the kernel of the dispute to achieve the underlying needs and offer closure. With significant experience as a litigator, I am extremely capable of navigating the legal process but recognize that not every problem is solved by a lawsuit; there may be better avenues for accomplishing personal or organizational goals that would still benefit from a lawyer’s involvement.
